Liberty Auctions

Auctions conducted by Liberty Auctions take place in person and online.

On location, buyers browse lots or property and register to bid. Liberty auctions employs technology that allows users/patrons to bid in person and online.

Some Liberty auctions are online-only. These auctions are not taking place on site, and all bids are accepted online.

Some Liberty auctions are live only. These auctions do not accept any online bidding, but prospective bidders can view details about the auction online such as the auction location, catalog, and details surrounding the auction.

Sellers have the option to set up lots as online bidding only. After inspecting property at designated inspection times buyers will register and bid online.

 

How do I register for an auction?

Buyers can register for live auctions on location.

Online Auctions have online registration and the Requirements for Bidding on Real Estate or high-value property are provided on the online auction listing.

Creating your Liberty Auction account will allow bidding access to all auctions. Some auctions may require additional registration, and buyers will not be able to bid for that auction until this process is completed.

Where can I find the terms and conditions for an auction?

Terms and Conditions are located both on the main auction event page and on individual lot pages.

How does an auction end?

An auction only ends when bidding has stopped.

In order for an online auction to close five minutes must pass without a bid. The auction period is extended another five minutes each time a bid is received within the five-minute extension.

How do I know if I've won an auction?

You will receive an invoice via email when you are the winning bidder.

How do I pay for my items?

Payment terms are specified in the auction’s terms and conditions.

Can items be shipped?

Shipping is available on many auctions, but not all auctions. For details check in the Auction’s Terms & Conditions for shipping costs and availability. Shipping is always at the expense of the buyer. Directions for arranging shipping can usually be found in the Auction Terms & Conditions. Questions can be directed to the Auctioneer or to Liberty Auction Services.

Shipping insurance is recommended for all shipped items and must be arranged by the buyer. Liberty Auction Services is not responsible for items damaged during the shipping and handling process.

How can I contact Liberty Auction Services?

The “Feedback/Questions” link on the auction event page and on each lot page allows you to send a message to the hosting auctioneer. The auction company’s contact details (address, phone number) are also available on the [main auction page] via the feedback/questions link.

How can I search for a specific item?

Use the search bar at the top of [Auction page] to find a specific item in all Liberty Auction Services auctions. You can narrow your search by category or view all lots that match your keyword in all categories. You can also save a search to revisit it later in your account under “Saved Search.”
